The special session Technology Enhanced Learning and Assessment in STEM education (ELearn4STEM) is organized in the framework of EDUCON 2022 – IEEE Global Engineering Education Conference. The chairs of the special session are Lilia Cheniti (University of Sousse, Tunisia), Francisco José García Peñalvo (University of Salamanca, Spain), and Alicia García Holgado (University of Salamanca, Spain).
The special session, held in parallel with the general conference, is an integral part of the conference. The session aims at gathering researchers, experts and practitioners who are modelling, designing, prototyping, implementing and evaluating Technology Enhanced Learning and Assessment solutions and related to SDG in STEM education.
Research papers related to Open and intelligent learning and assessment in STEM education welcomed are highly proposals. Special appreciation and attention are dedicated to proposals that emphasize the crucial role of Artificial Intelligence and knowledge engineering in designing and building Technology Enhanced Learning and Assessment systems in STEM Fields. The session aims indeed to discuss trends and issues related to the design and implementation of Online learning and assessment resources such as Online and simulation labs and learning applications for STEM education.
