Alicia García-Holgado holds a Master Degree on Computer Sciences (2011, University of Salamanca, Spain) and in Intelligent Systems (2013, University of Salamanca, Spain). She has a PhD in Education in the Knowledge Society at the University of Salamanca, specialized in the definition and development of technological ecosystems as a tool to improve the knowledge management in different contexts. She is member of the GRIAL Research Group of the University of Salamanca since 2009. She has participated as technological support or project manager in more than 25 research projects (including national and international ones), also she has several international publications both in journals and scientific conferences, many of them indexed in ISI-JCR and SCOPUS. She is organizer of the Google Developers Group of Salamanca and is member of the Women Techmakers Leads. Also she is part of the Tech&Ladies project (http://techandladies.com), a Spanish project to improve the visibility of women in technological contexts and to break with the current paradigm.
