Ramiro Durán Martínez is an Associate Professor in the Department of English Philology at the University of Salamanca, affiliated with the Faculty of Education. He began his teaching career as a teacher at the Official School of Languages and, since 1997, has dedicated his professional activity to training future English teachers for both Primary and Secondary Education. He teaches in the Master’s Degree in Advanced English Studies (University of Salamanca and University of Valladolid) and in the Master’s Degree in Teacher Training for Compulsory Secondary Education, Baccalaureate, Vocational Training, and Language Teaching (University of Salamanca).
His main research interests focus on foreign language teaching, intercultural competence, multimodality, and attention to diversity in bilingual education.
