WYRED: netWorked Youth Research for Empowerment in the Digital society

The emergence of the young as a distinct social group, and their slowly increasing empowerment through the availability of digital technology, has brought with it an understanding that they have a key role to play in the digital society, as drivers of new behaviours and understandings. Evaluation environment for fostering intercultural mentoring tools and practices at school (E-EVALINTO)

Early school leaving (ESL) is an obstacle to the socio-economic growth of the European countries. One of the targets for the EU in 2020, related to education, is to reduce the rates of ESL below 10%. European history crossroads as pathways to intercultural and media education (EHISTO)

The project reacts to the growing importance of mass-medial commercial ways of dealing with history in public space that in many respects does not comply with the EU standards for history teaching. Teaching and E-Learning Advances in European Mobility Space (TALARIA)

The high competition on the European labor market forces the need of increasing the quality of education. The higher quality of education at European level requires intense activities aimed at exchange of experience and skills in the process of building the Europe of Knowledge.
