DEsign Tools of Artificial Intelligence in Sustainability Living LabS (DETAILLs)

DETAILLs aims to increase the number of HE students capable of designing sustainable products with AI and sustainability focus, through a new Living Lab model (DETAILLs Living Lab) . Objectives include leveraging AI for data-driven decisions, promoting sustainability, and increasing skills, relationships, awareness, and sustainable processes. The project emphasizes a focus on sustainability, AI, and practical implementation for designing sustainable products.

RETOS-INDIGENIUS: Inspirando Futuros STEM

Este proyecto busca acercar y difundir el conocimiento de las carreras en ciencias, tecnologías, ingeniería y matemáticas (STEM) a los niños, niñas y jóvenes de pueblos originarios o indígenas que cursen la educación básica y media superior a través de retos y charlas que inspiren a seguir estas carreras.
Los retos se enfocarán principalmente en las disciplinas STEM, además en las charlas se pretende incentivar el empoderamiento, la inclusión y la inspiración a jóvenes de pueblos originarios a seguir la educación superior en carreras STEM. Las acciones se abordarán desde una perspectiva de género.

Training SEN teachers to use robotics for fostering STEAM and develop computational thinking (RoboSTEAMSen)

Our current society demands professionals with XXI competences. STEAM disciplines have shown to be specially relevant to facilitate their acquisition.However in such disciplines the inclusion of mentally disabled students is very difficult. RoboSTEAmSEN aims to support educational processes by providing mentally disabled students teachers with methodologies and tools for fostering STEAM and facilitating the acquisition of computational thinking by using Robotics and Active Learning Methodologies.

European history crossroads as pathways to intercultural and media education (EHISTO)

The project reacts to the growing importance of mass-medial commercial ways of dealing with history in public space that in many respects does not comply with the EU standards for history teaching. However, mass media verifiably influence the historical perception of pupils, and therefore they constitute an important factor in history teaching. Thus arises an irrefutable demand in history and civic education for a combination of intercultural and media-critical competences in studying history multi-perspectively. However, the nature of formal and non-formal, course-based, approaches to learning has made it hard to accommodate these informal processes satisfactorily, and although technology bring us near to the solution, it has not yet achieved.

The high competition on the European labor market forces the need of increasing the quality of education. The higher quality of education at European level requires intense activities aimed at exchange of experience and skills in the process of building the Europe of Knowledge. The current higher education development strategy in Poland anticipates imminent introduction of obligatory mobility for academic staff. However, Polish academic teachers prove low mobility, which, in turn, leads to limiting relations with global and European academic community.

Layers4Moodle 2010-2011

El presente proyecto continua la investigación iniciada en 2009 con Layers4Moodle (TSI-020302-2009-35).

El objetivo de este proyecto es el desarrollo de un entorno de ejecución de aplicaciones, así como estas aplicaciones, para permitir crear capas de información generadas por los usuarios y superponerlas sobre los contenidos generados por un sistema software de gestión del aprendizaje (Learning Management System – LMS) Moodle.
